5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Shark PPF warrants that its Paint Protection Film (PPF) products will be free from defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use and proper installation for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation.
This warranty is provided to the original purchaser/customer and applies only to genuine Shark PPF products installed according to Shark PPF's recommended installation procedures.
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE
During the five-year warranty period, Shark PPF warrants against manufacturing-related defects that materially affect the appearance or performance of the film, including:
Premature yellowing or discoloration caused by a manufacturing defect.
Excessive cracking, splitting, or brittleness caused by a manufacturing defect.
Delamination or separation of the film's layers caused by a manufacturing defect.
Significant loss of optical clarity caused by a manufacturing defect.
Adhesive failure caused by a manufacturing defect, provided the film was properly installed and maintained.
Normal aging, environmental exposure, and damage caused by improper use or care are not considered manufacturing defects.
2. WARRANTY REGISTRATION
To ensure that your warranty can be properly verified and processed, customers are strongly encouraged to register their installation through the official Shark PPF Warranty Registration Form.
Customers should retain their:
Original purchase invoice or receipt.
Proof of installation.
Warranty registration confirmation.
Vehicle and installation information.
Shark PPF may request these documents when evaluating a warranty claim.
Failure to register the warranty does not necessarily eliminate any mandatory rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws.
3. WARRANTY CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
To submit a warranty claim, the customer must provide sufficient information for Shark PPF to evaluate the claim, which may include:
Customer name and contact information.
Vehicle make, model, and year.
Product name and type of PPF installed.
Date of purchase and installation.
Installer information.
Invoice or proof of purchase.
Photographs or videos clearly showing the claimed defect.
Additional information reasonably requested by Shark PPF.
Shark PPF reserves the right to inspect the vehicle or affected film before approving a warranty claim.
4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover damage, defects, or deterioration resulting from:
Improper installation or installation performed by an unauthorized or unqualified installer.
Improper washing, cleaning, maintenance, or use of unsuitable chemicals or cleaning products.
Accidents, collisions, vandalism, road debris, stone impacts, scratches, abrasions, or physical damage.
Pressure washing at excessively high pressure or from an inappropriate distance.
Automatic car washes, brushes, or equipment that physically damages the film.
Use of abrasive compounds, aggressive solvents, harsh chemicals, or other products not recommended for PPF.
Neglect, misuse, abuse, or failure to properly maintain the film.
Removal, modification, cutting, alteration, repair, or attempted repair of the film after installation.
Damage caused by external environmental conditions, including extreme heat, chemicals, pollution, tree sap, bird droppings, insects, road salt, hard-water deposits, or other contaminants.
Damage resulting from paint, bodywork, respraying, panel replacement, or repairs performed after PPF installation.
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes that naturally occur over time.
Damage or deterioration to the underlying vehicle paint, clear coat, trim, glass, or other vehicle components.
Installation on surfaces that were unsuitable, improperly prepared, damaged, repainted, or otherwise not suitable for PPF installation.
Any product that has been removed from the vehicle before Shark PPF has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the claimed issue.
5. WARRANTY REMEDY
If Shark PPF determines that a covered manufacturing defect exists, Shark PPF's remedy will be, at its discretion:
(a) replacement of the affected Shark PPF material; or
(b) reimbursement or credit for the affected Shark PPF material, where appropriate.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the warranty covers the replacement material only.
Installation labor, removal costs, reinstallation costs, transportation costs, detailing costs, paint correction, vehicle repairs, rental vehicles, loss of use, or other incidental expenses are not covered, except where required by applicable law.
Replacement film will be covered only for the remaining portion of the original five-year warranty period and will not restart or extend the original warranty period.
6. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION
For the best performance and to maintain warranty eligibility, Shark PPF recommends installation by a qualified professional installer using proper installation techniques and approved installation products.
Installation-related issues, including lifting edges, contamination, visible adhesive marks, improper alignment, stretching damage, trapped debris, or other installation defects, must be addressed with the installer responsible for the installation and are not considered manufacturing defects unless determined otherwise by Shark PPF.
7. PROPER CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To maintain the appearance and performance of Shark PPF, customers should:
Wash the vehicle regularly using PPF-safe products.
Use clean microfiber towels and appropriate washing equipment.
Remove bird droppings, insects, tree sap, and other contaminants as soon as reasonably possible.
Avoid abrasive cleaning products and aggressive chemicals.
Avoid directing high-pressure water directly at film edges.
Follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by Shark PPF or the authorized installer.
Failure to follow recommended care instructions may affect warranty eligibility.
8. CLAIM REVIEW
All warranty claims are subject to review and approval by Shark PPF.
Submission of a warranty claim does not automatically mean that the claim is covered.
Shark PPF may request photographs, videos, documentation, physical inspection, or samples of the affected material before making a final determination.
Shark PPF will make a reasonable effort to process valid warranty claims promptly after receiving all information necessary to evaluate the claim.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shark PPF's liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies expressly stated in this warranty.
Shark PPF shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from the use, installation, removal, or failure of the product, including loss of use or other associated costs, except where such limitations are prohibited by applicable law.
10. TRANSFERABILITY
This warranty applies to the original customer and is non-transferable to a subsequent vehicle owner subject to the conditions specified by Shark PPF.
11. GENERAL TERMS
This warranty applies only to genuine Shark PPF products purchased through Shark PPF or an authorized distributor.
Shark PPF reserves the right to verify product authenticity, purchase history, installation information, and warranty eligibility before approving a claim.
Shark PPF may update or modify its warranty policy for future purchases. Any modification will not reduce warranty rights already granted under an existing warranty, except where permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable consumer protection laws.
